Ela Township is home to thousands of civic-minded residents who are passionate about positively impacting the future of our country: saving our environment, pushing for quality education, implementing gun safety measures, ensuring equality for all, supporting women’s rights, fighting for affordable healthcare, and more.

Ela Democrats is a volunteer group that meets once a month to discuss local political happenings, be informed by guest speakers, recruit and support candidates for our local elections, such as library and school boards, make plans to get out the vote, and to socialize. There are many ways to get involved from attending Ela Dems meetings, to becoming a precinct comitteeperson, marching in parades, participating in local fests and events, donating, writing postcards, participating in our private Facebook group, talking to friends and family about when and how to vote by mail, etc.

See below for a list of Ela Dems officers. Contact us to see how you can help!
